  • Song titles not showing.. Easy I'm sure..

I got the latest RR and I can't view songs / files when I'm in the browse module..

I can view them if I go into the:

    -- Alubms --
    -- Artists --
    -- Genres --

But not if I select a folder and drill down to where they should be. What do I have set wrong?

    Thanks!

I have seem a similar issue recently where some software added the "system" attribute to most of the songs/folders of this user.. first, check your MUSIC PATH setting is correct in RRConfig.. if that's ok, then read this thread, specially post #6..

Path in the RR.INI was correct and running the attrib command on the root of my music drive didn't work.

try -h instead of -s in the attrib command.. if that doesn't work, please post:

        -your musicpath= setting
-a screenshot of your files/folders of that location above
-the at.txt file generated by this command when ran on your music drive:
        attrib > at.txt

this is most definitely something simple.

Still no dice. I ran the following on the root of my D: drive

          attrib -R -H -S /S /D >at.txt

The at.txt had nothing in it.

          My musicpath setting is D:\Music\

Just a thought, but somewhere along the line, possibly my screwing around, the RR config changing the files types, or the new RR version with multi-player support... But I had the same thing happen. I went into the config and added mp3 as a music file type, and it worked.

You should have a line in the rr.ini something like this:

            audiofiles=.m3u, .mp3, WMA

Also make sure the winamp.dll is registered.
