    I'm being lazy today so i'm beggin for scripts lol. I'm looking for a script that reads file/folder information from windows from a defined root folder. For instance if i defined a root folder as "D:\" the script would give me an array of files and folders in the root folder. I know someone out there has this kind of script they can share.. hell i probably have one already but again i'm being lazy! lol. so how about it?

    Very easy...I have a snipet thats really close to your request, bout some more details as far as the final txt-? file layout.

    something like this one file or maybe two??

    [files]
    fullpath1
    fullpath2
    ect...

    [folders]
    path to folder1
    path to folder2
    ect...

      There's a "_FileListToArray" function part of AutoIT included (file.au3) scripts already.

      i.e.
      $musicpath_dirlist = _FileListToArray($musicpath, "*.*", 0)

      will generate array $musicpath_dirlist of the directory $musicpath, both filename and folders in that directory.

        i went ahead and put a script together myself and yea it was easier than i expected. I now have a file browser built into my skin.. pretty nice
