  • OSK Solution for Logging into XP when you do not have a keyboard connected.

When I remote Desktop into the computer with the in-wall touchscreen, I had no way to log back in locally without a keyboard connected, and usually just had to reboot the system. I have had this happen in the car as well at times.

I just ran across this great little program after extensive Googling. It's called OSKGina from Siemens.

This little program will present an OSK at the windows login screen, either on a cold boot (If you do not have the login disabled), or after closing a remote desktop connection to the machine.

Install it, reboot and you are done. HERE is the link to the program.

Alternatively you could use XP Tablet which does essentially this.

Yea, I just found that a lot easier and a lot cheaper than installing a completely new OS
