  • XM plays over music after hibernation/standby

    I have tried changing settings, and even reloading RR several times, but still can't fix this problem. I'll be listening to mp3's and then turn my truck off. When I turn it back on, the mp3 resumes where it was at, but XM starts playing over it. I have to go into XM and select a channel, then go back to music to get the mp3 to be the only thing playing. Any ideas? Also, after coming out of hibernation, the XM starts on the preview channel instead of the last channel I was listening to. I have to click on XM before the channel restarts. Thanks for any help!

    Fixed it (somewhat)

    I messed around with it a little more, but have a new problem. Now when I come out of hibernation/standby, it doesn't matter whether I was listening to mp3's or XM previously, it goes to music automatically. If I was listening to XM, I have to click the XM button to return to XM.

        Mitch, I tried loading yours, but I kept getting an error when I tried running the MJSG-RR-RunMe1st.cmd. It said," RegAsm.exe This application failed to initilize properly (0xc0000135). Click on OK to terminate the program." Not sure what that is. I reverted back to the latest RR build. Maybe someone can see something screwy with my rr.ini. I'll attach it if anyone would like to diagnose the problem.

            Tried with new error

            I downloaded and installed .net framework 2.0, and that corrected the problem with not being able to run "MJSG-RR-RunMe1st.cmd". Now, though, when I try running XM, its says XM is not found. I have the com port set up correctly, and it has always worked fine. What am I doing wrong now? Thanks for the help!

              power?

              test xm with my stand alone XMID program

              u dont have some comport issues... like iguiance snagging a port?

              xmport=x

              and make sure other ports, like srport=0
              and hdradioport

              double check them all in RR.ini
              -Thanks
