  • Embeding AutoEnginuity

    Hello:
I'm building the final version of my truckputer and have the final design down. I'm running into issues with embeding AutoEnginuity (monitor OBDII and blackbox recording). I have the application running, but I wanted to add buttons for the common items. The menu can use the keyboard such as <alt><D><S> for saving the current configuration. My problem is the application is not accepting the input from the button (direct keyboard or mouse selection only). AutoEnginuity is customizable and I can turn different panels on and off. Could this be a problem? If so, is there an application to know what the panel is called so I can 'sendkey' to that panel?

    Thanks,
    DNR

I don't know the program you are talking about but I've used AutoIT to do things like click buttons when you can't actually use hot keys.

Check out AutoIT V3. There's heaps of info and examples on the net.
