  • RideRunner Freezes when library is clicked

    Guys, please help me.

I just got all newest RR installed and when I click the library botton(to search for songs) in audio, RR freezes. Everything else seem to work.
I have so far tried with winamp 2.91 and 5.13, and with 3 different skins.
As soon as the library is clicked, CPU usage hikes to 90%+.

Can anyone tell me what I am doing wrong?

    Thank you for the help.

        Thanks for responding, guys.

The main skin I am trying to use is "eLite Lite" and this is the skin with Library botton.
I also tried with "Carwings_Dynamic_Lite", and this case the folder icon at the top bar in the MP3 player page.
        In "OMEGA", "View Album" icon.

I just noticed something else, when I create a playlist in winamp then start RR, I can play songs normal. But if I open saved playlist within RR, it won't play and it keep skipping the songs till to the end of the playlist.

I don't know these area realated issue, but happen in all 3 skins I tried.

I dont't know about the other skins. Make sure you have those lines in the exectbl.ini file in the OMEGA FOLDER.

/, View / Play Album Support
          "VIEWALBUM","RUNQ;$Skinpath$Scripts\AlbumPlayer.ex e|/B"
          "PLAYALBUM","RUNQ;$SkinPath$Scripts\AlbumPlayer.ex e"

I've attached the exe if you don't have it. Extract to the Omega/Scripts folder and try again. It is working for me just fine.

thats because it(winamp) cant find the files.... (a path issue)

are u really running the latest RideRunner?? 10/5?
you should attach your rr.ini and a debug.txt, it would tell us alot about your setup
(prob shouldnt help anyone till they post that)

Open RR Config, and go to the music section, page 1.

                Check the top 2 lines:

On the first line, ensure that you music path in RRConfig is correct.
Then, on the second line, make sure the Playlist path is also set correctly.

NOTE: The path to your playlists, has to be a folder that contains all of your playlists. You can not for instance have one in each artist folder.

I personally have a Program ~..\Files\Ride Runner\Playlists\ folder where I store my playlists for use with RR.

                  Thanks guys for he replys.

                  Before I post debug.txt and rr.ini, I reviewed them myself. I found a bad line in rr.ini.

                  [music]
                  musicbrower=

line in rr.ini was path to the folder nolonger existed and I guess that caused the RR to freeze when I try to browse for the music files.

RR is running fine now. Thank you for your help.
