  • skin help, append playlist to current playlist

I want to be able to add a selected playlist to the current library (as !LOADLIST) does, but without interrupting the current playing song. Is that possible ?
I found ADDTOLIST (from skin commands: Example: "ADDTOLIST;C:\Test.m3u"), but this command doesn't work for me. Here are the debug lines:
    Code:
    16.11.2009 17:31:16: Que Exec: Wahr, audio_browser.skin, "ADDTOLIST;C:\Users\K W\Desktop\rrMediaBase\results.m3u", Falsch
    16.11.2009 17:31:16: Executing: ADDTOLIST;C:\Users\K W\Desktop\rrMediaBase\results.m3u
Nothing happens though. When I replace ADDTOLIST with "!LOADLIST" it works, so the path seems to be correct. Bug ?

    ---

Also, can I prevent that RideRunner starts playing after loading a playlist ? Or is that a WinAMP setting I can't find ?

    Use ADD1.

Nope, doesn't work. I tried "ADD1;results.m3u", then an entry "results.m3u" appears in the playlist, not the songs.

This does work, I use it in my media plugin. Try putting the full path to the to the file

        ADD1;C:\Users\K W\Desktop\rrMediaBase\results.m3u

Only way to prevent it is to append a "||STOP" to the end of your cmd code line

If the current screen is using a DL that lists your playlists, you don't need the path.

Found the bug. RideRunner doesn't seem to like quotes. That wasn't the first time I ran into problems with this. Thanks guys.

            Code in AutoIt:
            Code:
            $result='"D:\Programmierung\AutoIt\MediaBase\results.m3u"'
            $rr.execute("ADD1;"&$result)
This it what RideRunner does with it:
            Code:
            17.11.2009 11:24:16: Que Exec: Wahr, audio_player.skin, "ADD1;"D:\Programmierung\AutoIt\MediaBase\results.m3u"", Falsch
            17.11.2009 11:24:16: Executing: ADD1;"D:\Programmierung\AutoIt\MediaBase\results.m3u"
Looking at the playlist in rr there's an entry called results" (just one quote)
Lookint at the playlist win winamp the entry is called results. When I click on "View File Info" it says "D:\Programmierung\AutoIt\MediaBase\results.m3 u"

at least it looks that way

              "add1;D:\Programmierung\AutoIt\MediaBase\results.m 3u"
              -Thanks

                This line:
                Code:
                $result='"D:\Programmierung\AutoIt\MediaBase\results.m3u"'
results in the variable to contain
                Code:
                "D:\Programmierung\AutoIt\MediaBase\results.m3u"
This variable is sent to RideRunner. This is what RideRunner makes out of it:
                Code:
                "ADD1;"D:\Programmierung\AutoIt\MediaBase\results.m3u""
I guess RR isn't meant to interpret quotes like that, is it ?

The extra quotes are not meant to be there by definition of the command. With exception of the RUN command (in some specific cases) no RR commands should have quotes on paths as RR only interprets the commands as defined in skin commands.txt -- if you do anything different, it may not work OR may work differently by coincidence -- anything that is not done as described in skin commands.txt is not guaranteed to work in future releases.

                      Not in AutoiIt.
                      This code
                      Code:
                      $result='"D:\Programmierung\AutoIt\MediaBase\results.m3u"'
                      ConsoleWrite($result&@CRLF)
                      Outputs this in the console:
                      Code:
                      >"C:\Program Files (x86)\Other\AutoIt3\SciTE\..\autoit3.exe" /ErrorStdOut "C:\Users\K W\Desktop\AutoIt v3 Script (neu).au3"
                      "D:\Programmierung\AutoIt\MediaBase\results.m3u"
                      >Exit code: 0 Time: 0.445
But it worked without the quotes anyway, so it doesn't really matter .
