Is there a way that Ride Runner shows and plays cue sheets for audio playback of complete CD's in form of .wav files?

When I add the .cue extension in audio setup of RRconfig, I can select the file in the RR audio browser. But it only adds and play's the first 2 tracks (without showing the track names).
I use RR with the Foobar plugin. And RR actually adds all the different tracks correctly in Foobar. It only won't play and show them in RR!

on the old roadrunner site i found that on February 2nd, 2005 some support for a Cue-sheet plugin was added.

    "Added support for Cue-Sheet Plugin"

    Is this plugin still available?

Any support on this one is very much appreciated!

There's very limited support for cue sheet in RR, we certainly have not done much testing with it (mainly because of the lack of files for testing). The only two commands in RR are to skip to next or prev song inside the cue file -- this requires a cue sheet plugin for winamp, but I wouldn't remember which one it is. Adding full support should just be a matter of finding samples to test with.

Hi Guino! Thanks, for taking the time to answer my question!
As I'm using foobar (and want to keep it that way), A winamp plug-in won't do me any good.
As I said, the loading of all the songs in the cue file in foobar is all ready correct. Found out yesterday that when I select some more songs (not from cue files) in RR, it also play's the rest of the cue file songs (which are next in the foobar play list), but under the wrong name in RR of the separate selected songs. I hope you can still follow me?

If you are interested adding support for cue files, I'm happy to supply you with some test samples! (If I can email you a FTP link where I will put them).
Cue files are quite a common way of having a exact copy of an CD in form of .wav and still have the ability to have the cd/ track names when played from a hard drive. You would make me and a lot of other people happy!

our control of foobar is extreamly limited, due mostly to a very very old activex

Hi Mitchjs, I do not think Foorbar support is the limiting factor in this one. (correct me if I'm wrong). As I explained the separate tracks in a cue sheet are correctly passed trough to Foobar. I't is RR witch does not display/start them. Selecting some other music files, will make RR play them as explained in my previous message. Witch proves to me that when the correct track list was loaded in the RR play-list, it would work!

This may be a limiting factor if we can't get the "updated" list of songs from foobar (so we can update the list in RR). With some sample files however it may be possible to get that information from the .cue file itself (if we can't get it from foobar).

To start with, at this link more info can be found on cue sheets:

              http://wiki.hydrogenaudio.org/index.php?title=Cuesheet

and I have attached a cue sheet I use. (change .txt to .cue)

If you want the wavepack file belonging to the cue file, to test, I can send you a FTP link via email.

BTW Great work so far on RideRunner! Cue Sheet support would make even better for me!
