  • Multiple Line-In's and muting

My mobo allows for multiple line-ins.

I'm already using one line-in for my XM direct unit. I'd like to use an additional line in for my Iphone as the speakerphone on it is horrible and bluetooth connection seems to be a real pain to get working every time.

Is there a specific command for a button I can use to unmute/mute a specific input?

well.. i dont know much about RideRunner , but a quick search on the word mute in the documentation ...

"MUTE" - This allows you to mute/unmute ANY audio line (Based on it's name).
    Example: "MUTE;Wave"

odd that there isn't a discrete mute/unmute only toggle

As yours is, the naming convention for my inputs are exactly the same.

I did see this in my EXECTBL.INI

          "ONSKINSTART","BYIND;LINEMUTE;MUTE;LINE IN<<"

          Could this be useful?

i dont know... but i did just add to RR

a new option on the mute command

            "MUTE;LINE IN;TRUE" - mutes line
            "MUTE;LINE IN;FALSE" - un-mutes line

would you like to try it?
(if you know my ftp, its there, if not PM me)
