  • rr 5/1/2010 with winamp 5.572 album load not working

hi all, im trying to get my system back in the car after going a couple years without. the last kink i need to figure out is that when i try to load an album from the audio browser, it just gives me a one line playlist, with nothing in it. when i had my system installed last time, i could go into the audio browser, open an album, and then double click on a song to load the whole album as the playlist. i dont know if im just missing something really simple, but its driving me nuts, lol
it does this no matter what skin i use. riderunner is installed in the default program files\riderunner folder, winamp is in c:\winamp

if it matters, my music is organized like this:
    c:\AUDIO\first letter of artist\artist name\album name\songs

    thanks for any help,
    David

as i said, it does it no matter what skin i use, carwings included. if i select the album in the audio browser and then click add, it adds the album to the playlist, but if i open the album in audio browser and double click a song, it creates an empty playlist.

i have tried installing winamp in program files, as well as just in c:\winamp

i have also tried setting the media player in rr config to winamp auto and winamp manual, both still do the same thing.

if i use wmp as the media player, it will work as it should, but then i dont have the integration like with winamp.

      thanks for any help,
      David

I will attach one tomorrow. I had never seen it either, rr is the only front end I've ever used, and its always been rock solid for me, it still is, just has this one little quirk.

it shouldn't make a difference where winamp is install right? how about where rr is installed?

          Thanks,
          David

i have no idea what that is, all i can guess is that in rrconfig, i have resume music set to always. wouldn't that save the currently playing song to an ini file?

ill run out and grab exectbl.ini and rr.ini right now

                  thanks,

it does the same thing still. but now i have to double click a song in the playlist to have it play, before it was single click to play.
