    Hi All,

Iím using RR and I have a DOS bat file running in the background that in amongst other things controls my webcam and website FTP.
Is there any way for me to pass a variable from this BAT file to RR to change the state of an indicator?

One of the functions of this bat file is to upload various information to my website. I would like to have an indicator on one of my skin pages to let me know if the FTP is in progress and was successful.

I'm guessing that I will have to embed the CMD.exe window, but how can I pass a variable back to the indicator?

    Cheers

    Trev.

I don't know if you can to pass a var from a .bat file to RR, but with autoit, you can to do that.

You can to adapt your .bat to an autoit script and add that into :

    Code:
    $rr = ObjCreate("RideRunner.SDK")
    $rr.execute("SETIND;!MyIndicatorName;On")
    or
    $rr.execute("SETIND;!MyIndicatorName;Off")

For this you can use RR Exec.exe to do this by running it with the cmd to execute..as such...

      Exec.exe SETIND;!MyIndicatorName;OFF/ON

You can find the exec.exe in RR root folder.
