    History:
    Code:
    LEGEND:
    - = Removed
    + = Added
    * = Changed
    ! = Major code change
    # = Bug fix
    ^ = Note

    3/20/2011
    ------------------------------------------------------------------------
+ Events: ONMINIMIZED, ONRESTORED; fired after RR is minimized or restored via cmds or taskbar

    3/19/2011
    ------------------------------------------------------------------------
    * Minor Tweak to Video File Browser ("Video_Browser.skin") so that video files
      arnt treated as audio files.
    # Tweaked video end detection, begin next item playback in the video playlist fixed

    3/17/2011
    ------------------------------------------------------------------------
+ Skin Command; "OSKAPPENDTEXT;text" Appends text to curent OSK TextBox (must be visable)
      ex: K,654,360,148,59,000,000,000,"OSKAPPENDTEXT;.com"

    * Skin Command; "DELETE" command for OSKs deprecated, use "DEL" instead
    	ex: K16,000,525,124,69,000,000,000,"DELETE" now is K16,000,525,124,69,000,000,000,"DEL"
This removes the ambiguous use of "DELETE" and tied to a skin named starting with "osk" or "numosk"
Works more like "backspace" and "space" does now.

    3/17/2011
    ------------------------------------------------------------------------
    + Plugin SDK; c#: AddRepeatCMD(string command) vb6: AddRepeatCMD(command as string)
This is for plugin designer/programmers, if they want to add a command that when press and held repeats like "VOL+" and such
        Example: AddRepeatCMD("plg_godown")
Now this is added to the list of repeatable commands.

    3/13/2011
    ------------------------------------------------------------------------
+ Skin Command; "RREXIT" will exit RR from anywhere

    3/8/2011
    ------------------------------------------------------------------------
    * Improvement in Web Browser embedding.
    # When RR is restored from minimize while on wbrowser.skin, browser is now restored.

    3/7/2011
    ------------------------------------------------------------------------
    # Last character was lost on a label wrap and no space to wrap at.
+ Skin Command; "DELETEFILE" now will work on Playlists, it will perform a "MINUS1"
to remove the item from the playlist, and then delete the actual file.
    + Skin Command; "SENDWMCOMMAND;windowname,lparam;wparam"
windowname can use format of !classname!windowame

    3/6/2011
    ------------------------------------------------------------------------
+ New Video Player; MPCHCVidRR Player
Uses Pilot API in MPC-Home Cinema, must use special build of mpc-hc, till
MPC-HC team incorpates patch file, supplied to them to fix 3 issues in DVD playback in
Pilot mode, if you using another version, control will work, just during DVD playback
      no timecounters will change.
      Example in RR.ini: videoplayer=MPCHCVidRR
                          mpcpath=C:\Program Files\RideRunner\mpc-hc.exe
                          dvdplayer=MPCHCVidRR

    3/5/2011
    ------------------------------------------------------------------------
    - MPCVidRR Player; removed extra support of MPC-HC
    - MPCVidRR Player; remove full screen mode, because of bugs in mplayerc.exe with its webserver
+ Skin Command; "CHAPTERMENU" (implemented in MPCHCVidRR & MPCVidRR)
Requests the chapter menu on the DVD (some DVDs have it, some dont)

    3/4/2011
    ------------------------------------------------------------------------
! fixed up support for dvd_player.skin and the "DVD" command
"DVD" will 1st look for "dvd_player.skin" if not found, it will use
      "video_player.skin"

Thank you! I will try it tomorrow.

I love to use fennec web function, the scolling is similar as using an ipad (love it) . However, I found it some issues such as: do not support flash (Thus I can't play any online music website or youtube), did not support virtual keyboard, i have to have an actual keyboard to put the website link.

Can you fix these issues on the next release please? And I don't know how to use firefox or IE instead of Fennec. I change the RRconfig, it still uses the Fennec engine when running browers.

Just going on a whim here, but I could assume that he's using one of the DFX skins, as we include the fennec browser in the skin. And yes, it does not support flash yet, would be nice if it did though and a built in OSK....we can only dream till then.
              RideRunner...The #1 FE, PERIOD.

              Current Project: DFXVoice [v1.0 Released]

Bingo, yep, I did use DFX skin. Your skin is all I need for a carpc frontend. I try to use other web browser such as firefox or ie however, it still using fennec. As I said, I love to use fennec, but without flash, i don't have any reason to use web browser cause I use web browser for music online or youtube.

Anyway, thanks for your advice, I hope you guys keep doing your very good job. I myself very appreciate what you did to carpc community.

I have a question from the previous release:

I went without my carputer since last July (when my car's engine died). I recently got the car running again, updated RR to the 3/1 release (just before this one was available), and now when RR loads I just have "rrpl" in my playlist everytime I boot regardless if I add songs.

I'm running windows xp from a CF card, using EWF on the C: partition (so any changes made to the C: partition are not saved). I have RR installed on the D: partition so I can make changes to the RR program folder without issue. I assume using EWF on the C: partition is causing my problem - does it have something to do with the 'profile' feature?

rrpl... update WINAMP! (older winamps arent unicode, and wont load m3u8s) (prob could make a quick fix to allow older winamps... but hey lets be unicode)

if you have profile enabled... RR will write its data, in tthe profile... (mydocuments\rideruner...) but RR has FULL HORM support, if you set it up...
since your installing rr on D, and not using EWF there, welll.. i would not use profile..
well more i think about about, i would just set RR up to use HORM, and put RR on C just like any other program, and be in profile mode
but if you dont want to change anything, just install RR on your D, and not in profile mode... and all data will be written in the RR folder on D
                          -Thanks

Thanks for the info. I don't actually use HORM, just EWF. I'll update winamp, use the april RR release, and keep it on D: since I don't have time to futz around with it right now.

                              Guino,
It is possible to add for the May version an Italic option for the labels ?
