    ************** JIT Debugging **************
    To enable just-in-time (JIT) debugging, the .config file for this
    application or computer (machine.config) must have the
    jitDebugging value set in the system.windows.forms section.
    The application must also be compiled with debugging
    enabled.

    For example:

    <configuration>
    <system.windows.forms jitDebugging="true" />
    </configuration>

    When JIT debugging is enabled, any unhandled exception
    will be sent to the JIT debugger registered on the computer
    rather than be handled by this dialog box.

    Can anyone unriddle this for me, or has anyone come across this...

    Thanks Heaps,
    Tom

      Each version of the .Net framework is independent. An app written for .Net framework 3 will use that version of the framework on your PC, regardless of higher versions. So, even though you have .Net framework 4, it's still good to install the service packs for 2.0, 3.0, 3.5, etc.

        To which is odd, I thought the same, awhile ago when i only installed ver 4, thinking it would cover the installed n backwards...don't exactly understand why they did it like that... you certainly don't have to install SP1 then SP2 before installing SP3...but then again, it is M$..LOL
        RideRunner...The #1 FE, PERIOD.

        Current Project: DFXVoice [v1.0 Released]
        Next in line: RRMedia v2.0

          *cough

          They are NOT service packs.

            I was more or less, using the SP's as merely something to compare it to. Yes, a bit of apples to oranges, but there are probably many that think the same...just install the newest/latest and should cover all bases, but doesn't in this case...

              To be clear, I meant the actual service packs, as in ".Net 2.0 SP2", ".Net 3.0 SP1", etc. Everyone should have all 4 framework versions, with all service packs applied.

                I was testing on an XP SP3 platform this morning and didn't run any updates. The installer requested to install .NET 2.0 since I didn't have it. Maybe it should install .NET 3.5 instead? I know, I know, I should have all my updates installed.

                  Similar problem in Windows 7 64-bit

                  Hi all,

                  I cannot open RRconfig as the OP with the error message (attached). I am using Windows 7 64-bit. it supposed to include .Net framework 3.5 already. I also tried installing .Net 4 full version but doesn't help. Please kindly let me know what I am missing. Thanks in advance.

                  Cheers,

                    Could you also post your rr.ini?

                      yes, your rr.ini is not in a format we expect...
                      one of your video / dvd settings

                      attach rr.ini (zipped, or rename to .txt)
                      -Thanks

                            Thanks Mitchjs for the tip. That solved my RRconfig issue. It turns out my RRISODrive is also pointing to wrong location. Problem fixed after manually edited both RRDVDdrive and RRISODrive.
