  • Playlist shows a black bar over the currently selected/playing track

    Hi Guys,

I need a little bit of help, I'm using the latest build (1/1/2012) but have this odd issue that the Playlist shows a black bar over the currently selected/playing track.

It wasn't like this before, but seems to have changed after applying another update (Oct/Nov) release.

If I use the Direct 7/Lists option, I can see the track (which is highlighted in Pink) but for some odd reason, I'm unable to navigator through it using my SpaceNavigator/Puck.

I'm hoping there a solution to either of the two issues, if anyone knows how to sort it out?

    many thanks,

    kit2

that will happen when directx fails
mostlikely...you have a video driver issue...
or a really old version of directx

or you actually want the bar to be black...depends on skin...
    since you dont mention that...

but lets assume carwings... work on directx, or you will have to go without ilists

course mentioning the OS too would/could help
    -Thanks

          Thanks Mitch,

trying a few different ones, already had ones from the mobo/vid card manufacture,

will let you know how it goes,

is there any documentation on what the key mappings are?

          thanks mate,

            Hi Mitch,

I installed the latest drivers available for my vid card from the manufacture, but no change, I think I can live with using lists (not sure if its meant to highlight the item as pink), was wondering if you where can I get a list of key bindings,

            thanks for all your help,

            Kit2

1 look at debug.txt for directx errors...
2 test with carwings too... carwings uses ilists... and medialists... you will know if directx is failing... the list will not be curved
3 you're going to have to turn off iLists (use rrconfig to turn em off)
(pink is transparency, its magenta by the way)
(its going to come back to whos\what skin your using)
(if you dont get ilists working, you prob should fix up the skin, and its not hard, and you still can get a nice list)

              keybindings?
there is a key file... KEYTBL.ini
              use rrconfig...
              -Thanks
