  • Multiple Music Paths across multiple drives

I've looked through RR and cannot find a way to set more then one music path in roadrunner. I tried separating by , ; no luck. I must be an idiot becuse there has to be some way to do this if you have music stored on one drive and have a removable for extra stuff. Anyone have an idea or am I blind and completely missed how this can be done?

I sort of remember this from 4 years ago now. I hadn't really thought of this. I have been using John's original autolaunch.

Thanks I need to catch up. Guess RR is just passing a string along and it's not possible for built in support.

you can have multiple paths.... kinda, using Browse file...

        Browse.RRL

        inside that file is

        PATH;viewing text

        example

        D:\Music;D Drive Music

and put this browse.rrl file in the main music path...
can you have multiple lines in browse.rrl? i dont know try...
        -Thanks

Could be this a BUG of Browse.rrl / Directory Browser Component????

          look...

          Skin: Carwings
          RRVersion: latest
          Default Music path: C:\Music

I created Browse.rrl file like this:

          L:\Test\Source1; L Source1
          L:\Test\Source2; F Source2

RR Shows that paths when library will load

if double clicks on one of them...RR opens the correct folder....

          but once in....

if i press BACK button, i'll go to L:\test (showing source1 and source2 )....and if pressed again....L:\...showing all other folders of my usb HDD.... ( independent from "Limit browser path from backing....." is or not enabled)

so....not gone back to Home Music Path (C:\Music)

to do that, i have to click HOME button and then RR goes back at C:\Music, showing the list like 1 picture (including Source1 and Source2 "folders")....

but i think that's not correct...if i click BACK button from the "ROOT" specified by Browser.rrl (source1 or source2), i suppose i have to go back in Home Music Path....

          or not??

(sorry if it's not really clear and for my bad english xD )

And if you save the current path folder once in somewhere, and when back event is fired, you'll check

if path is the one of alternative roots specified in browse.rrl then execute HOME

if not, just execute BACK command...

              ???
