  • Custom List with Variables

    Been searching everywhere.
    Is it possible to load a custom list with variables.
    It works with these settings.

    LSTBACKGROUND||BACKGROUND
    ICO$SKINPATH$SETTINGS\BACKGROUND.PNG
    LSTEQUALIZER||EQUALIZER
    ICO$SKINPATH$SETTINGS\EQUALIZER.PNG

    I would like to populate the list with variables like this.

    LSTItem1||$MyVar1$
    ICO$SKINPATH$SETTINGS\Item1.PNG
    LSTItem2||$MyVar2$
    ICO$SKINPATH$SETTINGS\Item2.PNG
    Is that even possible?

        You know, you could have also just asked for list support to be added for the RRMedia disk changer.... that would have been something really easy to add....

        [EDIT]

        See my next post for info...

            Funnier yet...Its actually in the current version already ( x2 ), as was part of the 100 disk addition, just didn't make the the plugin command text.

            Cmds:
            "RM_DiskList" - Screen needs a CL and can NOT be named rm_media.skin

            List layout is <Disk Title> [<Track Count>] eg. "Easy Listening [18]"

            Just doesn't have the icons, but that could be set using the default CL list icon in the 3rd skin line:

            xxx_Off.png,xxx_Off.png,xxx_On.png,xxx_Off.png,,,CD.jpg

            Then using a recent RR release, just use in the exectbl to play on a dbl click

            "ONCLDBLCLICK","$LISTTEXT$",<screen name>

              maybe a play button, touch screen people isnt double click evil?

              b,x,y,w,h, "commandtoplay;$LISTTEXT$"

              unless $LISTTEXT$ already has the command in it, since you kinda referr that in then ONCLDBCLICK example

              you know...

              i frown on the use of exectbl...
              a proper use would be of the custom list

              example:

              SC01,154,210,236,312,255,255,255,0,0,0,0,0,0,0,0,0 ,true,18,"Arial:B",00,"","commandtorunonsingleclick","commandtorunondoublec lick"

              what im trying to say is, NO NEED for an ONCLDBLCLICK entry in Exectbl.ini, try to avoid Exectbl.ini when you can

              assuming the command is in the list...as blue is inferring...
              SC01,154,210,236,312,255,255,255,0,0,0,0,0,0,0,0,0 ,true,18,"Arial:B",00,"","","$LISTTEXT$"

                I'm sure that he could have figured that much out... was just basically saying that feature (RRMedia DiskLists) is already implimented...
