  • Add tab character into a label

    I try to import into a RR label from a web page some results .
    I should like that my column are aligned , so i have tried to add some tabs characters into a C# plugin without success.
    So i add some space , but it's not very easy to always align !
    My c# line is :
    RRTranslator.SDK.SetUserVar("RR_TRANSLATOR_CAC40In dex", GetStringBetween(myWebFileInfo, "FR%3APX1\">", "</span></td></tr><tr>").Replace("</a></td><td align=\"right\">", " ").Replace("</td><td align=\"right\"><span style=\"color:red\">"," ").Replace("</span></td> <td align=RIGHT><span style=\"color:red\">"," "));
    is it possible to do that:
    RRTranslator.SDK.SetUserVar("RR_TRANSLATOR_CAC40In dex", GetStringBetween(myWebFileInfo, "FR%3APX1\">", "</span></td></tr><tr>").Replace("</a></td><td align=\"right\">", "\t\t\t").Replace("</td><td align=\"right\"><span style=\"color:red\">","\t\t\t").Replace("</span></td> <td align=RIGHT><span style=\"color:red\">","\t\t\t"));
    Thanks for your help !

    you should use multiple lables, collumn aligned, your are trying to put more than one element into label
    but since this is a plug in, you can do spaces...
    just do the math, to space it out
    -Thanks

      Doesn't work with most fonts if you try that.

      You need to have a fixed space font for it to work properly and even then, not always right.

          Yep, but I'll disagree on the latter part...you have to use some simple math and there should be no problems. I have done this before, but my usage was to create a txt file for a CL to get nice columns

              say your field is 20 chars wide
              and the text you put in is 15 chars

              20-15 = 5

              5 spaces needed to get it to next field
              -Thanks
