  • iGuidance v2011 and RR

So I ordered the iGuidance online and they sent me this back:

    Hi,

Thank you for your online purchase of iGuidance. Please note that as of March 2012, we’ve announced that iGuidance will no longer be developed for retail version. This means future map upgrade and bug fixes will no longer be available for the v2011 version you purchased. With that information, do you still wish to proceed w/ your order or do you want us to refund your payment?

Thank you and we apologize for the inconvenience.

I would say get a refund. Keep using what you have. There are other PC navigation programs out there, however they are becoming few.

If you are running RR - buy it! It integrates perfectly.

Get your money back if you can, Navigation has been a problem for most peeps. I personally use Co-Pilot live V8 and I also have it installed on 50 transports, never a complaint. Alk's customer service leaves alot to be desired though. But I haven't had the need to call them for support. Garmin altho discontinued still can get map updates. iGO8 also discontinued (or never really released) can also get map updates since it uses tomtom maps. Sygic is too clunky for me but is still a current product. You need to find what works for you. SNO

Plain and simple: if the purpose is to use it with RR - get iguidance!

Gotcha.....after all it's only $90 so it's not the end of the world. I'll see what they say in the email....

If all else fails I will be really forced to use centrafuse and i already have all he maps with it. I really dig the RR a little better ....

Plus RR has way more better skins specially for BMW
