  • Controlling Road Runner with Sendmessage

I am looking at controlling Road Runner with Girder using the SendMessage API.

    I am stumped though!!

I have the following fields within Girder:

    Message Number:
    wParam:
    iParam:

Can someone please tell me what should be entered into these fields to send a message to Road Runner.

Do I need to actually setup a button within the .skin files for the SendMessage command to work?

    Cheers for any help

If girder only supports that, then you're probably going to be able to use sendmessages correctly just yet... The lParam part of the message requires a bit more tweaking around. Try looking to see if Girder supports the WM_COPYDATA method/event in which case you could use (this is a standard call using sendmessage). In any case, I intend to try and ADD a simpler way of using sendmessage for easy of use.

Just got a Girder config file made using the generic interface (see other thread, I'll make it all available in next release).
