You can test it if you want, or look at the new code.. I just woudn't overwrite your old one directly.. I'm still fixin a few issues with starting winamp and displaying the correct names on playlist, thus the warning... just didin't want people complaining about it until I did some more testing.. same reason why I didn't post news about it, yet...

Something I noticed .. even though it is displaying MP3 tag information (AWESOME !!), it is still ordering the songs by the file names .. instead of the Track Number tag.

Can it order by Track number tag .. then by file name if the track number is not there?

Or maybe make it an option.

Also, the clear playlist button on the Brushed Metal skin seems to be broken.

The ID3 System is solely ON-DEMAND, so if you select 1000 songs, you'll not have to wait the software to load ALL 1000 tags before viewing/playing them. It will basically load and show the tags as you scroll through the files. The above is typically fast enough to where you'll not notice much loss of performance... NOW, if you would like to have the files organized by ID3 track or title, I can add something for that, but if you have 1000 songs in a folder, you'd have to wait loading all those tags so the software then could SORT it and show them in order.

The Clear playlist has an issue right now if you use it then hit "select/play" on the touch wheel, I'm looking at that..

Just been trying the new version and so far it looks great nearly there there are some bugs in the Music winamp seems to go mad sometimes i get errors like File is Damaged from Nullsoft Waveform decoder 2.06 and it keeps complaining about a missing shorcut?

              Girder:
So far it's very cool remote works awsome in Audio mode but having some problems in video mode where the remote buttons dont seem to do anything when a video file is displayed full screen but when the info bar is displayed at the bottom the remote functions work fine without problems but i'd like to be able to use remote when a video is playing full screen i belive rr.exe is not receiving the remote commands when MPC is on top.

              File List:
Clicking on a file does not open it. In media car you can just click on a file and it opens.

I think for better navigation in file list pressing left and right on the keyboard or remote should go into and out of a folder like in media car.

FEATURE REQUEST: Would be cool if file list had folder icons and file icons not really vital but will improve the look a bit.

              Gamma:
The new gamma works nice but it leaves the Gamma Control software open when you exit road runner.

I hope this feedback will help you to improve Road Runner and would like to thank you for your hard work, you've developed a great application and have greatly improved Media Car.

I tagged this on to the auto resume thread but incase you don` see it

Any chance of an extra button on the video panel? Id like to be able to switch between 2 or more playlists withought having to go into another screen

ie switch between my 2 directories: one with my movies in and 2nd with music videos in

maybe similar playlists in music too

I have no idea what is this winamp problem you have, care to give an insight as to when or what you do to get it..

I have to test girder with the video player more throughly, specially while it is on it's trial time..

I'll check on the click to open file.. I've been meaning to do that for awhile, but keep forgetting...

I have not added any "keyboard" support yet, will do that soon.. but have taken note of your idea for going in and out of folders..

Not sure I understand your suggestion about the icons.. right now the folder list shows icons for Folders and for Files -- they can be customized with the skin used by placing a folder.ico|gif and media.ico|gif in the skin folder. If you by any chance don't see any icons, then just click on the "Show Icons" option in the config tool..

The Gamma thing, I intended and had made it close before, but took it out for reasons of interfacing.. it's easy to make the Gamma application close, but Gamma panel's icon stays "dead" in the taskbar and GammaControl might be used by some with NaviVoice... so maybe I'll have to make an option for that..

Well.. that kind of sounds redundant.. why not make a structure like:

D:\Videos\ and two subfolders inside it: Movies and Music Videos ?

anyway, get some more to request the same and I can add it.. you'll probably have to find someone to make a skin change first...

True, sorry my bad.. have fixed it for next update.. as long as you add a folder/song with Select/Sekect+/Add1 then it should reload the list correctly.

I see your point on the lazy loading of the MP3 tag info. The only place that I use track numbers is for albums .. the folders I have with 1000 songs are all compilations .. and I have removed all the track numbers .. but I guess it would still have to 'look' at all the files .. because it does not know that.

Well .. if others want it .. and you can add it as an option .. that would be cool. If not, I can use the tag info to rename the albums I have that dont have the track number in the filename. No biggie.
