  • Skin readability in bright light.

I have been using the brushed metal skin which I quite like but it's very difficult to see in bright light and totally illegible in direct sunlight. Today I drove to work with the Windows Media Center Shell running and found that it was a lot more legible in bright light and still visible, just, in sunlight.

The MCE shell is mainly a blue background, with green buttons and a (more bold than RR), white font.

It's definitely making me rethink what a good skin should look like. Readability during the day is very high on my list of requirements.

I'd definitely like to give this a go - even if it's not complete. That'll help me decide which way I want to go.
