  • Comand line parameters with GPS

    Hello all!

I don't know if anyone else is in the same boat, but I have recently upgraded to Naviagtor 4.3 for my GPS and it now comes with a CapPC interface. However to get it to display the interface from the start it needs to have the -carpc command parameter at the end of the command line (ie c:\navigator\navigator.exe -carpc). When I use the external GPS function it doesn't load the program. Take the "-carpc" off and it runs.

Am I doing something wrong, or is it something RR can't do yet (or just hasn't needed to do!)?

    Cheers!

This needs to be better documented, sorry... try this in your GPS application command:

    c:\navigator\navigator.exe" "-carpc

Yes, you should include the quotes for the space between the application parameter names.

      Whoa quick reply thanks!

That has got it! Maybe something to put into the FAQ on the GPS?
