  • Finaly my last skin screen. Need some help

    Hi Guino.

I am finally on the stages of designing the last screen for my skin. This screen is the Mixer screen. What I was thinking is the following:

    1. Design the screen with all the sliders as normal.
    2. Include buttons that use the “CTRLUP”, “CTRLDOWN”, “CTRLLEFT”, “CTRLRIGHT” commands to select and control the required slider.
The “CTRLLEFT”, “CTRLRIGHT” commands can be used to select the next or previous slider and the “CTRLUP”, “CTRLDOWN” commands to increase or decrease the selected slider.

I have tried this but it did not seem to work. Can this be implemented or am I doing something wrong ?
The road is long but we are getting there.

Work yes, but not the way you expect.. those commands were not really meant for skins so the problem is that when you press/highlight a button the "focus" is thrown onto that button.. so basically when you press a CTRLLEFT button, it will throw the focus to the next object (always the same one) -- which would not produce the effect you'd expect.. Because the Sliders are in part buttons, I'd have to look into a solution for doing what you want.. but it would very likely be with different codes -- probably to select and control sliders ONLY.
