  • Feature: Not resume video playback when entering player?

I'm using latest Road Runner and i was wondering if there was an option to NOT have a video resume when entering the video player.
Sometimes i want to just choose a different movie instead of resume the previous one.

The only way to do that is to make a .bat file to run when pressing the "VIDEO" button... the .bat file just has to delete the videos.ini file in RR's folder. If you also delete Videos.m3u, RR will create a new playlist based on the files on your videos folder -- that would be empty if there are no files in that folder.

Another way would be to change the Video button to VIDEO||LIST (is list the command in the video modules? I dunno must check skin commands.txt) so that when you click your "Video Player" button it opens the video player and immediately opens the list so you can select a video to view...

          okay
in the menu skin, next to the video button settings, i put in ||STOP and the video now stops and doesn't play

it still loads the video, but this is good enough for me

did you try the LIST instead of STOP, so it brings up your move list?
