  • 2 commands at once....

    I prefer to load entire albums at once, i rarely create a playlist on the fly. But i get messed up sometimes when i click the Add-All button from the file chooser. I'd like to make it so that when i click the Add-All button, first it clears the playlist, then adds all those mp3s. any ideas?

    Thanks.

    i think you just put a | between the commands.
    so look at your skins file, and see the command for clear playlist,
    then go to the add-all button,
    and add the command for clear playlist before it with a | between them.

    but you may want to wait for a pro to confirm this

      Yup, just insert a | between commands on the skin to do two commands at once.

        If you use 'SELECT' then it clears the playlist and adds the current Dir, If you use the 'SELECT+" then it just adds the current Dir to the playlist.. so you shouldnt need two commands. 'SELECT' should just do what you want fine

          Just to clear up, you need the double bar - || - between statements.

          But regardless, Skull is right about "Select" doing what you want to do.

                got it guys, thanks loads. I wanted it to clear the list, add the dir, and start playing all in the same step. Here's the command for anyone who was curious:

                B22,010,351,198,048,"CLEARLIST||SELECT+||PLAY","Se lect+"

                  Glad you got it working.

                  I Believe "CLEARLIST||SELECT" WOULD HAVE DONE THE SAME THING.

                      Yeah, that's right. Select does clear first.
