  • iGuidance 2.1.3 - Warning Screen Issue

    Hi there,

I noticed that since I have upgraded to iGuidance 2.1.3, the warning screen that comes up the first time the application is opened does not close automatically anymore.

Is anyone else seeing this? Is there a known fix?

    Cheers

    I had the same problem.
It fixed it by installing the english version.

I would like to use and did use the dutch version and i had the same problem
I guess it is something in the lang. modules.

If you already installed the english version i can't help you.

rr was closing it automatically for you? try creating an autoit script and see if that resolves it for you.

Well, it doesn't seem to like to run the exe in RR.

It just opens up an explorer window....

                Any ideas?

                Cheers

Here's what I use to fire up iGuidance. The AutoIT compiled .exe resides in the same folder as iGuidance.exe

                  Code:
                  Run("iguidance.exe")
                    WinWait ("","OK")
                    WinActivate("","OK")
                    WinWaitActive("","OK")
                  Send("{ENTER}")

                  If WinExists("Warning","GPS") Then
                    WinActivate("Warning","GPS")
                    Send("{ENTER}")
                  EndIf
What Explorer window is RR trying to embed?

This kicked up a bunch of code errors when I ran it. Looks like it didn't like the " " in the code.

It's trying to embed the location of the iGuidance.exe

                    Cheers

I think there was an issue with applications running in RR like this. For example iGmod in RR...

it's trying to embed the c:\program files\inav\iguidance folder?

is the folder open in explorer when you're trying to embed iguidance?

If so rr is probably grabbing the first window with the title "iguidance" (which would be the folder window that's already open.. make sure you don't have the iguidance folder open.

otherwise i have no idea, i'm a satisfied centrafuse user

                          I used this code:

                          Run, iGuidance.exe, C:\\Program Files\\iNav\\iGuidance
                          WinWait, ,OK
                          WinActivate, ,OK
                          WinWaitActive, ,OK
                          Send, {ENTER})
It worked great, but in RR I get the same issue of just opening an explorer window in the C:\Program Files\iNav\iGuidance directory...

                          Any ideas?

                          Cheers

Hmmm, well I closed everything down.

First time it did the same behaviour... Tried it again, and it all worked and I couldn't repeat it.

Probably as you say, some weird thing with a current window open.

                            Thanks for your help!

                            Cheers
