  • Abbreviated day name display

    Making a new skin (first time), learning about what's possible in RR/RR Skin Editor.

    Is it possible to display the date in the following format:

    Wed 12/21

    I can get the 12/21 part, just not the "Wed". I'd prefer to not have the whole day name spelled out.

    afaik you cant do that right now, also you dont set the options for this in rrskineditor, you do it in RRConfig.exe

    generaly i would like more options for display format for date and time
    01101100 01101001 01110001 01110101 01101001 01100100 01011111 01110011
    01101101 01101111 01101011 01100101

      Open RR config and set the Date format to this:

      DDD DD/MM

      Then save. That's it.

        Thanks! Now a follow up question:

        As far as the time goes, can "2:00 PM" be shown as "2:00" rather than "02:00"? I don't want that leading zero in the hour portion of the time if it can be helped.

        I'm really digging working on my own skin, its kinda fun. Can't wait to show it off when I'm done.

            I think Guino showed the way for how you can pretty much do whatever you want (I think)
            It's a format I'm familiar with in Excel date/time custom formats.

            dateformat=MM/DD/YY
            timeformat=HH:MM:SS AM/PM

            Realize that the date is shown as above, and M is month, D is day, etc. The number of letters indicate the number of places. So MM/DD is 01/03. Other characters like the "/" are printed verbatim.

            So to answer your question, you want a code of H:MM
            This is a guess, so please let me know if I'm right.

            My beef is that whenever you customize something in rr.ini, when you open rrconfig it will kill whatever you put in there.
