I have something like this working. It checks for an internet connection every so often (whenever you want)...then it will run a command. The command can be in either RR or external commandline (3 of each). Then it can be configured to execute that command every so often(3 of each). Also disconect commands and an online indicator. This little project started because ping doesn't work accurately for me(half of what I connect to via wifi blocks ping even when connected). So, this script doesn't use ping, it checks the size of an online file. I don't know if I'd call it finished yet, but I've ran it a couple of weeks at a time checking every 4 seconds, reloading weather every 250 checks If I ever get it done I'll post the script in the plugins.
current ini: (some of the variables need to be changed to make more sense)
Thats cool.^. RR plugin developers need to consider momentary internet access when write them. I know some plugins store data to a file, but alot do not. What Im trying to say is that RR needs a unified netcheck and datastore for plugin devels to use.
