Take a look in the RR FAQs, I'm sure there will be full information in there, by the way, I think you need Mappoint not Autoroute, sorry.

Yeah I think so, failing that give freedrive a go, www.freedrive.co.uk which is based on Destinator 3.

Autoroute is just the Euro version of Streets and trips right...so, just search for that. there is a BMV2 skin for it that.

Yep... MapPoint exists for Europe. If you have MapPoint then just set this up in RRConfig and away you go.

              Try

              THREAD

I've not tried this yet with autoroute.
But one reply states that M$ s&t is the same as autoroute so should work.

              Have I been misled

Coz I bought autoroute 2006 after reading that thread

Streets and trips is indeed the same as Autoroute.

MapPoint has the same product globaly. Also, mappoint is very similar to S&T and Autoroute, it's just that it also has an SDK on top it! (and some other bits and pieces).

but, how are you guys embedding Autoroute into Roadrunner?... It seems like whatever I do, I cant figure this thing out...

                      I too bought Autoroute 2006

I've heard of people using Autoroute in RR, I thought it was just a slightly modded version of mappoint. I would at least try running the mappoint option in RR with autoroute installed.

yeah, Iwe tried... Autoroute 2006 is missing the MappointControl.ocx file.. which I thought was essential to make this work..

tested out the American version (Mappoint), worked like a charm...

Autoroute does not load when pressing "gps" in RoadRunner...

Autoroute has no SDK so there is no way to interact with it. You need the European version of Mappoint to integrate fully with RR.
