  • Apps not showing under "APPS" button.

Ok.. I'm trying to figure out RR some more and I'm now looking at apps (adding apps, etc). When I click on my APPS button in any of my skins nothing shows up, however, there are folders located under C:\RoadRunner\Launch.

    What am I missing here??

IT depends on what skin in particular. Apps is a button that I guess some skinners might use for different things. For instance, when you click the Apps button on either one of my skins - Brushed Blue or Brushed Orange - I have an Appmenu.skin that opens. That menu allows you to choose from Photos, cdrip, launchscreen, temps/sensors and such. clicking/touching one of those buttons will open whatever program. So, what skin are we talking about.

The rule of thumb is whenever something doesn't work,

      1. Try it in the default skin, ie. the BMV2 skin.
      2. If it doesn't work there, there's something wrong with YOUR setup
      3. If it works, there's something wrong with the skin. Try and talk to the skin's creator or post in the skin thread.

      It's not that hard.

I tried it in the default skin and got nothing, hence the post.. I agree something must be wrong with my setup and that's why I'm asking the question because I don't know what to look for..

Go into RRConfig and make sure that the setting "Launch Path" is correct. For instance, default it should say "C:\Program Files\Road Runner\Launch\" Verify that you have a Launch.skin in the skin folder of RR too.

Not a question for me I dont' use netstumbler. You may want to ask this question over in the wireless communication forum, there might be more people there who know.

You bastard, it took me a while to figure out you were talking about the forum at Netstumbler.com. I was like, "we have a netstumbler forum here too?" Your confusion keeps me on my toes, I like it.
