  • PowerDVD send key problems

    Hi Folks.

I've searched and searched for an answer to this but I'm either not looking hard enough, or I'm not clever enough!

My version of PowerDVD is version 5. When I use it within RR I cant get any of the buttons to do anything, other than the stop button, which ejects the DVD. So I searched on here and read about the send keys, and it looks to me like the send keys commands within the BMV2 skin are different to the ones actually in use on my version of PowerDVD. For example the play button in PowerDVD is "enter" but in the bmv2 skin it look slike it's a ","

    B06,516,75,66,78,"Sendkey; ","Play"

So I've altered this line to change the "," to "ENTER" but this doesnt work either, I still can't get the DVD to play. If I attach a keyboard and hit enter it does work, so I'm fairly certain this is the problem.

Am I on the right lines here?? Any help hugely appreciated.

    Cheers
    Julian

in most PowerDVD versions the command is a SPACE (thus the Sendkey;_ -- there's a space there). You can change it to suit your needs, but you'd be better off using windvd or a newer version or PowerDVD (since it's been already tested). for enter you'd have to use "SENDKEY;{ENTER}" .. the more special keys you have the weirder it will get.. there's a post somewhere with all the sendkey info you can use, just do a search for it.

Thanks for that Guino, I was missing the {}. Got that one to work now...

The reason I can't use a later version is that anything after 5 requires a bigger processor than the EPIA M10000.
