-Added Mixer support for Flash Objects
-Added support to custom sizing and positioning of screens
-Added commands to dynamically add and remove non-gesture areas
-Improved List support for Flash Objects
-Improved MM integration to leave it open on skin switch
-Improved SCANMODE to work independent of screen
-Improved SCANMODE to auto shut-off on skin switch
-Improved Shutdown Procedure to never mute the Master Audio
-Improved "PRESET" with option to load audio lines without master
-Fixed issue with Video Player not hiding when effects are off
-Fixed issue with SoundCard option selection
-Fixed issue with Temp Sensor resetting too frequently
-Fixed issue with Disc Change commands not working with car2pc adapters
-Fixed issue with Radio getting stuck if Dlink selected but no card present
-Fixed issue with vol+/- for winamp use (Thanks Robby_BMW)
-Fixed issue with extension plugin indicators returning always ON

    -Created Native Web Browser Plugin

I also Built RR with Mappoint's 2004 component so it works with 2004 & 2006.

    Notes:
-Latest changes for iGnative support require INI option to be effective
-Gas Prices support requires Gas Prices Files available at www.rrdownloads.net
    -For SendKey, Use {SC}, {CM} and {QT} respectively to send ; , and "

The new Web Browser Plugin: it is fully integrated with RR, but it is completely optional. The existing methods to load the web browsers embedded will still work. You can download the plugin at www.rrdownloads.net .

The easier install method is to unzip the exe in RR's folder, the .skin over the brushed metal skin and add this to exectbl (or change the .skin button code):

    "WEB","PLUGIN;WebPlugin;WebPlugin.exe"

-It is backwards compatible with the existing web browser skins, but it requires a few more objects to be defined in order for the favorites list to work. Hopefully, skinners will provide the updated .skin files -- it only requires a list to be added, but offers more functions that can be added.
-It will automatically load the first page in the favorites as start-up.
-Its OSK resembles the windows OSK, so it should never loose focus of selected items (If I might add, it took plenty of research time).
-You can double click on the favorite in the list to open the page OR add a button to load the page.
-You can edit webfavs.ini OR create a button to delete items from the favorites list.

It CAN be used with other front-ends. For that you'll need to create a sub-folder "SKIN" wherever you unzip the EXE, then place the wbrowser.skin and osk.skin files in it along with desired JPGs to be used. Those can be copied from any RR skin that supports a web browser.

I hope I'm not disappointing anybody if it seems a short update after 2 months, but I really didn't touch much on it while I was out of the country.

On another note, I wish to thank you for the amazing support everyone has provided to this project.. the 9th is my Birthday and I already got the best present the community could give me, yes the transflective screen too, but more importantly the recognition for my work and role here at the community.

Thank you all so much for the support,
    Guino.

As he so put it, two different/unrelated things, I was just making a play on words with the title.

nice update, and after fighting with issues with carweb, im happy to see the webbrowser plugin Due to current monetary erosion i couldnt pitch in on the screen, but your efforts here are not un noticed. You are probably the biggest single source of kickassness on this site. Happy early birthday, mine was just a few days ago.

got the webplugin working, and having a few very small issues.

autoload of first fav dosent seem to work, i just get a blank white page.
also, is there a way to navigate the fav list, arrow keys dont seem to work.

                  thanks

I intend to improve a bit on it... I'll make it so UP/DOWN work (button codes).. so it can be skinned a little better. It's just that favorites used to be handled by the browser only and now it's all in RR (better for the user, perhaps worse for skinners). If you make a skin with whatever function you want, I 'll do my best to make it work.

Anyone has problem with iG? Does your iG get chop part of the left side?
I think guino miss out one of the change I did in RemoveBorder() function. Original code has Left and Top parameter name swap around. I changed that, but I guess I didn't make it clear enough in the description of change file .
Anyway, I gota look at the latest code to see what the problem really is.
Good work, thank you and happy bday guino.

Mine simply doesn't embed, actually. It launches iG3 (umpc or regular), focuses on it for a second, and it goes away leaving me with a lovely view of my desktop.

Turning it off embeds, but a bit chopped on the left side and the bottom actually.

i cant think of any other things i would want to add (can u belive it!). I allready have some up/down buttons in place so ill just leave them there.
I havent tried this yet, but since its a plugin i was wondering if standard RR commands would also work? I want to add music nav buttons (play/ffw etc).

One thing i did notice is with the OSK there is a white box on the screen. Just like the one in the "whitebox" thread, but this one is much smaller. Only shows on the osk in the browser and not RR.

                              @jollyeskimo

                              did you test the beta?

                              what skin are you using?

One thing that needs to be done if you didnt test the beta and your skin has a CLIP Area on the GPS screen that will cause problems and you'll see your desktop. So you should remove the clip area in external_gps.skin if you use ignative.
