  • Odd problem with the browser list.

    Well, let me just state the problem then I'll fill in the details.

    The browser list no longer displays. While running RR with my skin -- it's as if the list isnt there (nothing displays). In the skin editor, however, it is clearly there.

    Now the details: When I first started my skin (using RR Skin Editor), the browser list and playlist would both display. After a few changes (graphical) -- the browser list no longer displays. I've tried to redo the mapping of the buttons all over -- starting the skin from scratch, but that still doesnt help.

    Ive tried searching, but couldnt come up with much. I've tried using the latest version also. I'm fresh out of ideas and a bit frustrated. If anyone can help, i'd gladly appreciate it.

    I've also pasted the text from the virtual editor below.

    Thanks.

    HMmmm

    Looks like your list is correct in the skin from what I can tell. Without seeing your images, I cant tell, so I will at least ask a question, not ment to offent, just trying to trouble shoot here.

    You don't by chance have the text color set to the same as your background color by chance? I know it's a long shot, but a thought at least.

    Here is a line from my browser skin for the list:
    L03,20,14,647,48,87,181,229,22,"01 Digit:B","/ ||TAGARTIST||= - ||TAGTITLE||=","SCROLL-LEFT"

    Give that a try in your skin and see if it works (Replacing the coordinates ect at the beginning of the line of course).

      your skin file doesn't have any reference to create neither a playlist nor a folder list, nor has any buttons that would invoke the audio browser. You should also keep in mind that the folder list only works propperly when it's on audio_browser.skin -- but you can also use a playlist on that screen if desired.

        @ JohnWPB: Nah -- no offense taken - but that wasnt the issue.

        @ guino: I think that may be the problem -- I have both the browser and playlist directory under audio_player.skin. Previously, I had an audio_player.skin load an audio_browser.skin -- that one works correctly.

        I'm sure that is the problem -- I will check it out later and post the results.

        Thanks to the both of you.
