Is there a way that the Online indicator can actually identify whether there is Internet connectivity?

My CarPC is connected to a wireless router with a Sprint BB EVDO card and when driving we pass through areas of no reception. At the moment, as the CarPC is connected to the wireless network and my NAS network drive which has all the MP3s and Vids on, it shows that we are online all the time even when the router drops the EVDO line.

This would be useful for identifying places to stop when I want to access email or the web etc.

    Thanks

the built in online indicator cannot, but if you use the autonetdetect plugin it detects true internet connection. it then creates a file in a specified location (connected.txt). From there you can use the FILEEXISTS indicator in rr to truly know if youre connected to the network. Just search for autonetdetect for more info

Got it, installed it and it's perfect! Thanks!

How do I run the utility when RR starts up - is there a location that I can add programs to be started when RR loads (like an autoexec.bat?)

in rr.ini the STARTCOMMAND is where youd enter RUN;FILEPATH\autonetdetect.exe
