  • Closing a running Flash / SWF program

On my skin I have a menu with Flash based / SWF games. When I go to the games skin, with the list of games, and start one of the games, I can't figure out how to have RR close it when I exit the game skin.

    From the Skin Commands.txt file:
"CLOSE" - Closes the application currently open in the current screen
I have tried "Close" on the button at the bottom of the game skin itself, which does take me back to the calling skin (List of games), but the game is still playing in the background, as I can still hear the game's audio.

I have tried combinations of Exit, Close, Close||Exit, and still nothing.

Using the Auto It window inspector, the game window does not have a name, so I can't try the "CLOSEWINDOW" command that is also in the Skin Commands text file.

Any ideas here? I must be missing something simple here.....

Try adding /DISCARDABLE to your flash game .skin file. From the RR Skin Commands.txt

    /DISCARDABLE
If the above is found in a .skin file, RR will unload that skin file once you navigate away from it.
This can be useful to keep memory clean and to force reloading of objects of a screen.

      Thanks!

That did it... Thanks! I thought that was just for clearing the image cache (On Off, Downn, Empty) from memory. It also seems to close the app as well. Thanks!
