  • Feature Request: Reload Images

Is there any way to add a new command easily that will reload images on a skin? I have 2 uses for this currently:

    1) being able to reload weather maps, without reloading the skin / Road Runner.

    2) I am working on a skin for Traffic Camera's, and they will need to be updated every 60 seconds or so.

I want to do this all in RR code, and not have to have an external application to display the images and embed it ect.

    Something "RELOADIMAGES".

I would then have to create a timer event with the plugin to run that command while on that skin at a given duration of time.

once RR parses the commands/skins, it does not store any info as to where the images came from.. so, you'd have to re-issue the commands to reload the images. You can however use LOADIMG for that purpose, as long as the images are from a defined location, you should be able to do it. Only alternative would be to set the screen as discardable, then load a new screen (i.e. Wait.skin), then load the same screen again.
