  • Embedding RoadNav

Im trying to embed Roadnav. For some reason even though the button points to Program Files/Roadnav/roadnav.exe.

Instead when I click that button I get a web window embedded in my Roadnav skin. The funny thing is its a thread in the skin forum where I was asking about Roadnav. Any Ideas?

K, have you determined what the window name for roadnav is, and have you set that name in the appropriate spot in RR?

Its just RoadNav, thats what Winspector tells me

Just to make sure I have the protocol right

      1. Red Crosshairs to top left of window to be embeded, red square all over
      2. right click on the entry in the left menu --> Properties
      3. the Window name is the entry labeled as Text on the new menu to the right

      Is that correct?

if it embeds the wrong window, it's likely the window being embedded has the window title you set as well (or at least contains it).. Try to use the class name to be more specific to the window you want using this format for your window title to embed: !<CLASSNAME>!<WINDOWTITLE>
