  • some of my buttons don't work

I am not able to get the "vis" button to work. When I used mediacar, In order to get it to work, I had to touch the top of the window in order to get the visualization to be on top, but on this program, when I press it, it doesn't appear to do anything. My day/night button doesn't seem to work as well. am I missing something?

The VIS. button is "not implemented" YET -- sorry..
Also not implemented is the Radio Control (just waiting my card 2 arrive) and Mappoint -- that may be awhile..
Next implementations include TV/Camera, PhoneControl and ODBII asides from the common improvements.

The Day/Night needs to be configured in RRConfig to use either GammaControl or Gamma Panel -- GammaPanel has default settings, Gammacontrol might need to be configured (day/night levels) before you "see" something happening... you should set the path to the application you want to use for gamma in the config tool as well -- the two applications are included with the binary distribution of RR.

    Hope this helps.

I am going to donate at some point regardless, but is there any way you could implement voice into your program? there is an SDK from microsoft, and it doesn't look too difficult, but all I know is basic so I can't say much

NAVI Voice 1.5 is supposed to have full support to RR.. I'd suggest trying it.. it not only can control RR but can also control MapMonkey which is a big +++ It basically uses the same SDK from microsoft.. so it'd be kind of redundant to add speech support directly into RR...

That's the easy part... it is the only "sticky" thread in the Road Runner forums.. just click on "> Road Runner >" on the top and then click on the first thread.. please post a quick comment if you do so..

Basically, you can find the donation link at the left side on my page:
