  • Wath is it???

It happens on all my pcs... it's the main window. Audio window works fine...

It seems like an istance of labels remains in background not changing when you make an action while another istance changes itself (play becomes stop, or pause, time change, volume...).
But if I comment the labels rows in the .ini file all labels disappear... then there's only one labels definition but two visualizations... one changing the other fixed.

It happens also with other skins that have trackname (general audio information) in the main window...

Does it on mine too - only happened since 27.02.05 version, don't think the labels are getting cleared on screen change.

I'm going to look at this.. this is wierd the least.. is there any particular thing you do to get that ? or it just happens ? also, if you minimize RR and return, is that still there ?

It happens always, with all the skins that have labels on main page... also mb e cpu, date and time labels are dual... but only in the main window.
Changing skin make it works corectly for only the first time till you re-open rr. Then it happens another time...

            Guino, this is what happens:

If you open up RR without any music resumed, it will put up a blank bar over the song title area even after you have selected one to play and the car/outside temps are blurred as well. weird...(see top pic)
If you close down RR and then reopen up RR with the same song resuming (resume 'always' is checked in the config), everything fixes itself and is peachy (see bottom pic). I have been able to duplicate this behavior every time.

I tried on all my pcs (even in my office) with different xp and service packs but it always happens. It seems to be hardware-independent...
Also minimize don't solve the problem. It seems the main window (I repeat audio, video etc with the same label definitions work correclty) keeps a fixed value of the labels and don't clear old values covering the others when you change a parameter (volume, temperature ecc...) I repeat, only in the main window. It happens also with holistic old skin (the gray one with flash meep meep). But probably, as I said, happens with all the skins that have labels on main window...

I have actually seen this today in one of my PCs... it seems to be a skin Loading issue.. Fonts are wrong and it seems to load everything twice.

That "blank" bug when no resume is used, has been already fixed, I'm assuming you DONT have the latest version..

I will redownload the installer again when I get home. All I did yesterday was download your "late 2/27 binary.zip" and overwrite it into the RR folder.

                      Guino,
I downloaded the installer again and I'm duplicating the problem (it's what I do at work, find software bugs ). In the rrconfig I have resume music mode set to 'always' and when I enter RR, I get the following blurred text with blank box. Now, this only happens if there is no music to resume to (notice it isn't playing anything). If I start a song and then exit out and then reopen RR, it resumes the song just fine and there is no blurred text or blank box (bottom pic of post #6).
Does that make since? Can anyone else duplicate this?
I just thought it was related (blurred text) so I kept it in this thread.

I am not sure if the installer had the LATE 2-27 version.

Anyway, I've looked into the issue and I'm hoping to have it fixed.. since I can't reproduce the problem on my machines I'm posting it so people can actually help me test it... please download BINARY package 03-02-05 and try again..
