  • RR does not respect Y position after hibernation

    I have modified the size and position of the Alpine Skin to acommodate to my screen and the frame where is fitted in.
    The problem comes when the pc comes from hibernation.
    The interface goes up not respecting my 20 on Y position. So I have to exit RR and open again to see it correctly.
    Also, since I changed the size and position, the video don't display correctly. To be more precise, its displaced down.
    Its a bug or I'm doing something wrong?

    Help gino!

    Thanks

    I haven't seen any problems with this, but I can take a look at it when I have a chance...

      Ok, this is my General.ini file of Alpine Skin:

      OriginalWidth=800
      OriginalHeight=600
      ShowWidth=800
      ShowHeight=580
      XPosition=0
      YPosition=20
      ApplyToVideo=True
      ApplyToVisu=False
      AutoSwitch=True
      DayTime=08:00:00
      NightTime=20:00:00
      GammaDayRed=0
      GammaDayGreen=0
      GammaDayBlue=0
      GammaNightRed=-40
      GammaNightGreen=-40
      GammaNightBlue=-40

      I tried to change ApplyToVideo=True to False, but nothing changes.
      What does exactly this parameter?
      The only way to see video correctly centered is having X Y to 0 but no good for me. Other values displace the overall image.
      I'm using the latest release of RR and I tried on another PC and the results are identical.

        I only found an issue when using MPC... I have put out a little "fix" for it on 10-31...

          So where the problem can be?, because the problem still ocurr and I tried with to different computers, one the carputer with an epia1000 and other P4630 64bit, both with windowsXP 32/64.
          What could be responsible of this? Can I displace the image outside RR? In the WMP or winamp viewer for example?
          Thanks

            First, if I were you, I'd try VERY HARD to change the SCREEN settings to better fit the physical placement of your LCD...

            For all I have tested, I could not find any issue with the video with the same exact settings you posted above (which did work)... but if you still have issues, then I'd suggest trying a different skin (and I did try different skins as well)..

                yeah, I tested with other skins and I got the same results.
                Also, I cannot change the resolution of the screen 800x600 wich is a lilliput 7" 2005.Tried to adjust with powerStrip, but I have not much margins without having it out of synch.
                For the home PC, I have another very different res 1280x1024, same problem.
                If your for example change the X and Y pos, the video displaces the same ammount in X and Y not being aligned with the skin.
                Don't know what the problem can be, but in the meantime, I just centered the skin and adjusted some aspects of MM wich is ok while I cannot get a solution for this.
                Nobody else has this problem?

                Thanks
