  • osk sends keys twice in web browser

In the web browser using the OSK to type into a text box on a webpage sends keys twice for each key. Using the OSK to navigate to a url does not have this problem, only input into text boxes inside the web page.

I've seen that, and I'm yet to determine why.. still need to look closer..

I´m having the exact same problem here... using the osk from the "enter url" key that takes me to an webpage adress works nice but when I use it directly by pressing "OSK" and for example types inside a search-string box it inserts double characters. Using my own physical keyboard is no problem at this stage... any solution?

I experienced that once when typing an SMS message in the SMSOUTDETAILS.skin. So it seems like it may not be a skin specific problem. But rather OSK itself.

this may shed some light on the subject. It seems others are having the same issue with vb sendkeys.

Can anyone confirm that the software in post 5# work for double-letter-fixing? I dont want to screw my computer since I dont know what that software does currently

I have to add built-in browser support anyway. But I can try to switch the sendkeys method.

the stuff thats in post 5 is more for someone writeing code. I found it doing a google search for vbsendkeys and saw a lot of results with people basicly having the same issues. Its a bug in VB from what i understand, and not anything at the fault of guino. I think you have to license the code referenced in post 5 so thats a nogo.
Currently i just use an external OSK for web CNS VKEY, i dont think its available anymore though, think they went belly up.

                      Any fix jet?

Edit: There is also someting wrong with enter using programs at lauch.skin (eny skin): Enter key just exits osk.skin, does not apply enter command to program :/

I'm almost done testing the new web browser..

The ENTER key of the OSK is meant to only exit the OSK. It doesn't really send ENTER to anything.. that's the intended behaviour.. I believe it is, however, possible to create a button that would send it..
