  • Is "Select+" supposed to work this way?

    RR 2006/11/12 build. Winamp v2.95 or v5.24.

Music is organized in folders in the following format:

    Music Path D:\Music

    - Album1
    - Album2
    - Album1
    - Album2

When highlighting the artist folder and then hit button tagged "!Select+" it loads ALL of my music files under the music path.

    "Select" does not do this.

According to Skin Commands.txt "'Select+' ADDS the currently selected FOLDER AND SUBFOLDERS to current playlist, '!SELECT+' stay in same screen"

In order to load just the songs of one artist to the existing playlist, I have to either:
    1) browse one folder in and hit "Select+" or
    2) highlight the Artist folder and hit "ADD1"

Is this a bug or a settings thing? I've done a search, but because "select" is in a lot of posts (500+), I really couldn't find anything definitative on this.

Lastly, none of my files are loaded into the winamp library and use folders to sort my music.

I don't know how I missed this, but I guess it is supposed to work as it should. I suppose I interpreted "Currently Selected" = currently highlighted folder.

Exactly. You can always build a command to do what you were talking about though: "BROWSE||!SELECT+||BACK" for instance.
