  • Someon please help

So, I checked out the phone programs and I tried Phoco and freefone and I cannot for the life of me figure out what's going on. I'm running in circles.

    With Phoco:
I can get everything going outside the program. When I use the phone to make a call, I can hear through the speakers and talk through the microphone. Verified with a call. Inside Phoco prog, I can dial out and watch the phone connect but, cannot hear anything through speakers nor can I talk through the microphone.

With FreeFone (which is much easier to set up I might add)
I can dial out and watch the phone attempt to call but seconds later, the phone hangs up.

    General BT:
The computer keeps disconnecting me from the serial port I connect with. Now it's telling me my license is no good? Obviously, I'm having general BT issues.

I was excited to get this going and now, I've been working on it for 5 hours and still can't get it done...anyone know what I can do?

    Hi,

Theres nothing more frustrating that bluetooth, when it doesnt work!

What bluetooth dongle are you using?

What mobile phone are you using?

What front end are you using?

Ive had similar problems, found most of em were settings you had to edit manually (ie they were not in the wizard on initial setup)

I am using a Kensington dongle which I honestly cannot find the packaging to get the actual stuff on it but it's BT 2.0 at least.

I have a Samsung D-807 and I use Road Runner for my front end.

Again, any help will be appreciated and if needed I can try and find out more info on the dongle.
