  • Audio fade plugin request

    I'm told there is a flaw in rr's code as far as the "fade in volume on resume" feature and its buggy in operation.

    Mitch say's to rewrite the code would mean re doing all rr's audio handling functions so it probably won't be done within the source any time soon.

    So does anybody have an understanding of whats required to emulate the way rr controls that winamp function and who'd be willing to create a plugin?

    is not that clean but give it a try,

    EXECTBL.INI
    Code:
    "ONEXIT","SETVARBYCODE;FVOL;VOLUME||SAVETOSKIN;FVOL;$FVOL$"
    "ONSKINSTART","RUN;$SKINPATH$resumeVol.exe||"
    in your exit menu.skin "QUIT" button, use
    Code:
    "ONEXIT||QUIT"
    if variable "FVOL" is empty will set volume to 40%.

      This is limited to songs, but if you want to fade in music, you can just have winamp do it when it's starting or resuming a song. The option is under the DirectSound output plugin
