This really depends on the language you're using. If you're using VB6, there should be mousedown and keypress events for the objects you want to monitor.

In mostly any language you can use GetAsyncKeyState (API call) to get the keyboard/mouse state. It all depends on what you're trying to do.

Are you using the extension plugin interface ? or what ?

You may want to read those if you haven't yet:

That's what the extension plugin interface does for you. Every time a user clicks on a button or executes a command RR will call the ProcessCommand() function in your extension plugin -- this allows you to view/monitor and even CHANGE the action of buttons pressed in RR.

There's no "mouse move" event in the RR interface, it processes the images for the buttons on its own.

You can get the position of the mouse on the screen using the getcursorpos() API call if you need that for whatever reason, but you should avoid executing things when the mouse is moved.

To get the current screen in RR you can use RRSDK.GetInfo("RRSCREEN")
