  • A new version of RRMobile is coming!

    Hi

After a while I'm finishing a big update of the RRMobile Plugin.
I can say that all the functionalities now are there.
Now I'm doing an initial beta test to discover the main bugs, in a week I will publish it to the community for an extensive debug phase.

    The main changes are:
    1) Phone Call dialing
    2) Phone call receiving
    3) Sound Support (Ring,busy,error,call,..)
    4) New and improved multi-phone profile support (see attached config files)
    5) New skin graphics
    6) Many part of the program rewritten for better management

A bit thank to all of you for the support so far given!!!

    Stay tuned !!!

    lol charge your phone!!!

    just kidding.

Cant wait to test this out. Im still hoping that ill be able to use the pc as the phone interface thru bluetooth, and then use a bluetooth computer hooked to the pc for speaker and mic. Im hoping my pc can handle 2 bluetooth connections at once. We shall see. Looking forward to it.

is there a chance that existing phoco screens in RR can be lightly modified to work with RRMobile (change label codes and button commands) or do you have to create a whole new skin?

Looks great!! A couple of questions though -
I have a windows smartphone (Orange SPV C550) and could never get it fully working with Phoco even though it was supposed to be supported.
Does/Will RRMobile support MS Smartphones ?
Even if we can just get the phone part working - contacts could be pulled from Outlook as Smartphones sync the contact list to outlook anyway.
Is it likely these devices are going to work ?

        Keep up the good work!

        Cheers

Can't wait to test the next 'phase'. I use my phone extensively in the car but at present not via my carPC. Roll on next week

check in that thread. I beleive it will be, and i think it was already mentioned to make it use and sync to the outlook phonebook. but that link will take you to the original thread.

Any chance your plugin will work with PPC Phones in the future?

Any news on a beta release??? Its looking really good, not pushing, just eager to give it a try in the car.
