  • WinAmp Copy

    Hi,

i've made a simple tool to copy the file that WinAmp is playing. or the complete dir of the current file. it's also possible to copy directly to a ftp server. build in are warnings, only for copying dir's because of the potential large amout of data, and some space calculation in order to know if evertying is gonna fit.

    some screens:

    and the mini-mode

there's also a RR plugin, this function is what started it all for me. both copy options (file or dir) are usable in RR only the FTP mode ISN'T.

    happy copying

Cool, I guess this is useful (for instance) to those wishing to transfer songs from the car into their portable players .. I'm fortunate enough to have an MP3 player with as much capacity as my car has in music, but I'm sure others will appreciate it..

          ok downloads are HERE

the one discussed in this topic is NOT a plugin but an additional program.
          that is WinAmpCopy.zip

the plugin (not tested widely) is WinAmpCopyPlugin.zip

            Hey Polomaniac,

The download link does not contain the winampcopy files.
Where can we download them from?

            Thanks!

never had that error, but try to locat msstdfmt.dll on your laptop and copy it to the same dir on your cpc... reboot and try again..

Found it in windows/system32 folder. Copied to carpc(same folder) and register using regsvr32 and it works now.

                    Thanks
