This is a Integrated IE Web Browser plug-in for Ride Runner
Thanks to Nomader for all his ideas and help with getting this going
(not to mention starting the nudge)
It has been on my list of things to code for RR for at least a year...

works, with IE7-IE9 (IE6 if your still actually using that, has some quirks)
    Tested with, IE8 & IE9

Thanks to Sonicxtacy02 for the carwings_dynamic graphics
    and for testing...

                  Mitch,

I finally have decent Internet in my car so have loaded this plug. Nice work. I'm having a little problem, though. I can't get the Google Search button to work if I enter the search string using the OSK. The button itself reacts to my click, but the search is not triggered. When I click the "I'm feeling lucky" button next to the search button all works as expected. If I key the search string in using a physical keyboard rather than the OSK all works as expected. This behavior occurs in both Carwings and DFX. Any ideas?

yea... well, its just how google's home page is done now...
as soon as u enter a text, the page changes...
so... just put in the text using osk, and then slide to right, and click on the mag glass
                    -Thanks

Okay, just noticed that the magnifying glass is missing in IE and FF outside of the plugin also. So it's not an issue with the plugin.

It looks like Google has eliminated the magnifying glass from their homepage in favor of the Google Search button underneath the search box. Unfortunately, clicking that button does not do anything. It's curious that the I'm feeling lucky button next to it does launch a search, though. One would think that if it's an issue with a changed page neither of those buttons would work.

Yes, but the glass only appears on a search results page. It's not shown on the page that appears when I launch the plugin as shown in my post 11. If I enter a search string on that page using a physical keyboard or hit I'm feeling lucky after entering the search string I get a page like shown in your post where the glass appears.

So you're saying that as soon as you enter a letter in the search bar on the original screen it shifts to the search results screen as shown in your post? That's not happening for me. How would I tell the plugin to use a different search/start page?

Okay, I've got it now. I needed to go into Google search settings and tell it to always show instant results. Then when I type anything into the search box on the initial screen the glass appears. Thanks for your help, Mitch.
