  • Easy question regarding a variable in a LABEL

    How do I get a label to show a variable just created with SETVARBYCODE?

    I have a button with "SETVARBYCODE;radio_1;FREQUENCE"

    How do I get a label to show $radio_1$ after it is set?

    Thanks...
    Mark

    Lx,x,x,x,x"=$Radio_1$"

      OK - now I feel stupid. That was the most obvious solution, but I gave up on it immediately because when I put that in the label code box in "Skin Editor V0.71" it just showed "$radio_1" on the label. It works when RR is actually running!

      Thanks for the quick reply!

          OK, here's my next challenge:

          I want to create a button that works similar to the FMPRESET command, only I want it to remember which HD sub channel I was on. I figure it's a combination of these commands...

          Here's when I hold the button..
          @SETVARBYCODE;radio_1;FREQUENCE||SETVARBYCODE;HDsu b_1;HDSUB@
          If I'm listening to 98.7 HD2 when I hold the button, radio_1 = 98.70 and HDsub_1 = 2.

          Then I want a label over the button to show....
          98.70 HD2
          I figure it should be some combination of...
          "=$radio_1$ and = HD and "=$HDsub_1$"

          Then when I press the button, I want it to set the radio to 98.7 HD2

          Any ideas???

          Thanks...

              Bxx,...,"SELPRESET01",@SAVPRESET01@

              ExecTBL.ini
              Code:
              "SELPRESET01","HDSUB;$HDsub_1$||FMPRESET;FMPR01"
              "SAVPRESET01","SETVARBYCODE;radio_1;FREQUENCE||SETVARBYCODE;HDsu b_1;HDSUB||!FMPRESET;FMPR01"

              .
              Untested, but I think that that'll work...
