  • iGuidance not working properly with Ride Runner

iGuidance won't work for me with the new Ride Runner and Carwings skin. It looks like the iGuidance isn't opening properly inside of RR and a portion of the skin covers the "Menu" button so I can't change the destination.

Check your window name in rr config.

Sounds like the overlay is not working right. Post a screenshot.

I'm having the same trouble. I'm new to RR so I hope one of the experts on here has some ideas.

Nothing wrong with it, that's how it is in carwings. The "navi" button will let you enter a destination.

Sure it will, as long as you don't need any letters under the menu. That's where the biggest problem comes from.

              A H P and V are unusable.

I see. Never noticed cause i don't use UMPC. Go to the carwings thread to learn how to disable the overlay.

Woah, I don't get any of those options on the left. I wouldn't mind so much if I did. How did you get those to come up?

I'll post a screen shot sometime tomorrow. I'm in the middle of a cross-country roadtrip and only really mess with the carputer while sitting at a rest stop taking a break from driving....

I've never had any keyboard problem using iG with the float overlay.

Not keyboard Blk, OSK! When you call the OSK, some letters fall under a portion of the overlay making them (the letters) unusable. Happens with IG UMPC.

I meant the OSK when I mentioned 'keyboard'

Yes the letters fall under the menu in the UMPC but their rightmost edge remain clickable. I just tried it and took a screen cap. I would be nice if the UMPC data entry menu was area definable for position.

The normal iG OSK does not fall under any of the menu.

I was wondering that about the iGuidance skin as well but I have an easier solution.....switch to eLite Lite.
